Dramatic Romantic Endings…Easy to Make Scrumptious Frozen Desserts

Ice Cream Grand Marnier

4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups heavy cream
l cup sugar
¼ cup Grand Marnier

Combine all ingredients and beat with an electric mixture until well blended, about five minutes. Pour into a plastic ice cream container, cover and place in freezer until partially frozen. Remove and place cream into a chilled bowl. Break up cream with fork and beat or five minutes. Pour into container, cover and return to freezer until cream is semi-firm. Remove and beat again to improve texture. Return to freezer. Freeze until firm. Makes about 1 quart.

Strawberry Sorbet

2 lbs. fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
l cup sugar
l cup apple juice, unsweetened

In a saucepan over low heat, combine all ingredients. Cook until strawberries are soft. Remove and let cool. Pour into blender and puree for two minutes. Pour into a plastic ice cream container, cover and place in freezer until partially frozen. Remove and place sorbet into a chilled bowl. Break up the sorbet with fork and beat for five minutes. Pour into container, cover and return to freezer until cream is semi-firm. Remove and beat again to improve texture. Return to freezer. Freeze until firm. Allow soften before serving. Makes about one quart.
