The Film - 90 Days

The film 90 DAYS has won its first Best Film festival award [Short] at the 2017 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival! The festival runs from Feb 16th - 26th and is happening downtown Los Angeles at LA Live! Exact screening time will be announced! Hopefully, you can attend! 

They will also make their Film Festival Premiere at the 25th Annual Pan African Film Festival on Sun Feb 12th at 1 p.m. There will be a powerful Q&A afterward and many of the cast will be in attendance. If you are in Los Angeles, they look forward to seeing you there. Other screening times at this festival are: Mon 2/13 at 9 p.m. and Sun 2/19 at 4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.paff.org.

The film 90 Days tells the story of Jessica & Taylor, a fantastic couple who have fallen in love. After ninety days of dating, Jessica and Taylor are forced to confront the realities around living and loving with HIV after one of them reveals he/she is HIV positive.

Deep Desires Press is Calling for Submissions

Deep Desires Press is a new publisher of erotica and high-heat-level erotic romance. They focus on quality rather than quantity and would much rather have a handful of top-notch stories than a full catalogue of mediocre books. Their main goal is to excite the reader, to take their imagination into the most erotic of scenarios. Authors will earn 50% royalties (after the vendor takes its cut) and will receive full editing, cover art, and marketing support from Deep Desires Press. Submissions are expected to be well-written, well-edited, and reasonably error-free.

They are seeking all genres and subgenres of erotica and erotic romance. This includes contemporary, paranormal, LGBTQ+, BDSM, historical, sci-fi, fantasy, etc., stories featuring any pairing – MF, MM, FF, group/ménage/multiple partners, and are inclusive of trans*-identified characters.

While they are open to any and all submissions that meet the criteria of this Call for Submissions, they are particularly keen on submissions that reflect real life, including, but not limited to, multi-racial casts of characters, accurate depictions of LGBTQ+ relationships and sex, and settings outside of Canada and the USA.

They will not accept submissions containing underage characters in sexual situations, bestiality, necrophilia, yellow play, brown play, incest, pseudo-incest, non-con, dub-con, or rel-con.

Authors are expected to have at least two mediums for self-promotion, such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, newsletter, Pinterest, blog, website, Google+, etc. When submitting, please include relevant links in your query letter. In the case of a newsletter, please include the current number of subscribers.

When it comes to Rights, Deep Desires Press will seek ebook, print, and audio rights from the author. However, at present, they are expecting to publish in ebook format only. Contracts are for three years from publication, renewed on an annual basis thereafter.

They are primarily looking for new works only. However, if your work has been previously published and you currently hold full rights, they will consider these works on a case-by-case basis.
