I must say, my first dates went great. But not all first
dates end well when discussing certain subjects.
Here are seven topics you might want to avoid on a first date to keep things light and enjoyable:
Politics - This can be a very polarizing topic and might lead to heated debates.

Religion - Like politics, religious beliefs can be deeply personal and potentially contentious.
Ex-relationships - Talking about past relationships can make things awkward and might give the impression that you are not over your ex.

Money - Discussions about finances can come off as intrusive or materialistic.
Sex - This can be too forward and make the other person uncomfortable.
Personal insecurities - Sharing too much too soon about your insecurities can be overwhelming.
Future plans for marriage and kids - While important, these topics might be too heavy for a first date:
Concentrate on having fun and engaging in topics like hobbies, travel experiences, favorite movies or books, and interesting anecdotes from your life. This helps keep the conversation light and enjoyable, allowing you both to get to know each other better in a comfortable setting. 💞
