Why it is Important to Plan How Much You Will Spend on a Date by Vivienne Diane Neal

Nowadays, when it comes to how much you are willing to spend on a date, it should be in writing or in a text message.

A young man was suing his ex-girlfriend, because she spent too much money celebrating her birthday on a weekend trip, which he had planned and made is very clear in his text message that everything would be taken of, and she should enjoy herself, but he ended up suing her for $700.00 because she went on a wine tour, had a spa treatment, and added scented oils for him to pay for that went over his budget.

What the plaintiff, who was an accountant, did not realize was that his own text caused him to lose the case. He never wrote how much he was willing to spend, and if she went over that amount, he would have won the case.

So, the next time you take a date on a weekend trip, make it clear how much you will spend, and if that person goes over that amount, then he or she will have to pay, either in person or in a civil court. 💔
