We would be facing a lockdown, wearing face-coverings, practicing social distancing, and washing our hands often to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a virus that has already claimed millions of lives worldwide. As of December 4, 2020, there were around 65.6 million global cases of COVID-19. Over 45 million people had recovered from the disease, while there had been around 1.5 million deaths. The United States, Brazil, and India have been among the countries hardest hit by the pandemic.
